Who we are
The Resilient Parent Initiative (RPI) exists to support parents during their child’s most crucial early years, empowering them to build the inner strengths they need to be calm, confident, and resilient.
Our online hub of resources combines scientific research with real-life wisdom from parents, made simple and supportive for even the hardest days.
We’re here to help parents:
- Build resilience and self-compassion
- Manage stress and emotional challenges
- Grow the inner strengths that support calm, confident caregiving
Rooted in research and grounded in care, our approach brings together insight from those who’ve been there with evidence-based strategies to support parents.
We envision a world where every parent has the tools they need to care for themselves while raising resilient, happy children.
Our Mission
Parents need more support. There’s an overwhelming amount of advice on how to care for children, but far too little guidance for the emotional lives of parents themselves. Yet, it’s a parent’s inner world that shapes how they show up each day. When parents grow their own inner strengths, they’re better equipped to offer the steady, loving care every child deserves.
Parents are the scaffolding for future generations, and their well-being isn’t just important. It’s essential. Yet far too often, parents are asked to dig deep but are handed a teaspoon instead of a shovel. To truly support the emotional foundation that allows families to thrive in today’s trying circumstances, we’ve pinpointed the Key Strengths of Resilient Parenting.
At RPI, our goal is to empower parents to prioritize their own well-being, because when parents are supported, children thrive.
